Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Brand new shop, you would think staff would be welcoming and helpful to the new system which can I just say is one of the worst ideas ever. After picking the shoes and feeling as though you are disturbing a staff member by asking them to do their job and them scanning the shoes we were told to sit and wait and they’ll be brought over after sitting for 15 mins we asked again in which case I was asked repeatedly which shoes as if I was stupid and the shoes didn’t exist that the girl had scanned 15 minutes ago, not a sorry or apology for not telling us anything about how the new system works and how we have to look to see if they’re available or anything then being told ten minutes later they’re not in stock by the same girl even though they were still on ‘picking’ on the screen. Once again no apology or anything polite that a professional staff member should say to a disappointed customer

What a waste of my time. I had to wait half an hour to try on a pair of Jordans which cost £170 and I decided to leave in the end because I didn't want to wait any longer. I'm never going here again.

I had to wait half an hour to try on a pair of trainers, eventually she brought them out but they were the wrong colour, so I decided to leave. There was alot of other people waiting to try on shoes but there was loads of staff. I would not call JD the king of trainers, I would call them the king of time wasters. In the time I wasted I could have gone to a restaurant and ordered a meal and finished. They must be losing loads of sales everyday from wasting customers time. I will never ever go to that shop again because I don't want to waste my time a second longer in that shop.

Hate to be one of those people leaving a review but this literally happens every time I go in. Went in today to purchase some shoes. Picked the display off the shelf which was my size, and simply asked the lad for them in a 9.5. He told me to wait there while he put them through and he'd bring them over. 20 minutes later still nothing so I asked him for the shoe again (same lad) which he then scanned again and told me they weren't in stock, meanwhile, the display size had gone from the shelf. Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they had been put behind the till and that was the last pair, HE WAS THE ONE WHO PUT THEM THERE. I had to strongly suggest what had happened so he would go and check behind the till. This is the third time I've been in this store and been left waiting for shoes for more than 20 minutes. Staff are all about 13 and dense. Got him wandering about rather than dealing with the customer. And another female member of staff walking around with leggings so far up her arse I felt ashamed for her. I get that the uniform is sportswear and causal, but c'mon. Bit much.

Sorry but I'm leaving 1 star too. My lad travelled here on the train to buy Air Max 95 Ultras £130 (Christmas money). Got them but was told he couldn't return them as sale item (even though they were full price) literally just walked out the door. Basically some div had given him size 9 in a size 12 box he hadn't noticed this at the time. Spent 15mins arguing and then gave up. Anyways 1 week later I drive all the way back (as told cant return to any other store) only to ask for a manager and explain driven 23miles and paid £4 parking because of their mistake. Just got a blank robotic, "cant do anything as a sorry". Said can we sort him out with a tin of Crep Protect, again "cant haven't got a button to put it through". Said ok refund the lot, put back through with managers 10% discount (£13) and ill buy it. Again, "cant do that". Honest to god why employ 18 year old girls with no brains as managers? Its like trying to get compassion and understanding from a water melon! Its not like we cant just walk in to Footlocker and buy them from there which to be honest is what we will be doing next time. Save yourself the bother of shopping here, just go to the Chinese and buy 2 chopsticks and ram them in your eyeballs as truthfully the experience will be less painful!!!
